Actually it might be an advantage to not be first in line. The Spurs will have a few hours to talk to other teams and maybe line up deals to dump salary, so they'll know if they have the full max to offer.

It sounds like they may have that deal potentially lined up with Cleveland to send splitter in exchange for Heywood's non-guaranteed contract to clear cap space.
