He should go to the Warriors so the Splash Brothers will have a frontcourt counterpart.

Or he can go to the Lakers and be Kobe's Pau.

Pau couldn't win a single playoff game till Kobe held his hand.

You couldn't tell anyone here that before Pau took yours.

Not a bad get for Spurs if LMA chooses elsewhere ...
Also makes some sense for GState ...
Always liked his fire not sure what he has left but Im sure Kerr or pop could extract whatever is left. And what do the Lakers have to do with this?

West would be a terrible fit for the Warriors. He's 34 and doesn't run the floor. He would be at the end of the bench on that team.

Honestly I'm surprised he hasn't been mentioned much in free agency, I'd love to have him personally. We need some more grit on the team.

The rich get richer. And yet another FA won't sniff the Lakers, not at any price.

At least Pau could get to the west playoffs with bad teammates.

Then promptly quit like a year earlier.

Free agents don't go to the Spurs, they go to LA, where they have money thanks to their cable TV deal and a lifestyle nobody can turn down. Hell, the Lakers don't even have to work to get free agents, they just show up. :lol
If the Spurs miss out on Aldridge, they will either rescind the trade with Atlanta or just take Tavares back from them and sign everyone else. No matter how you slice it, they're set for another playoff run.

Absolutely.
Lakers should get a good lottery pick next year. By the time they get a decent team again, Randle will be ready to retire.

IIRC, they traded their pick. I don't think they have any?

Then I rescind my former comment and defer to the gentleman from parts unknown.

Henkie owns it, top 3 protected. They might be the worst team in the league this year though, if Kobe can stay healthy
