Multiple sources tell us ... the players are viewing Sam as a "distraction" -- but nobody wants to say it out loud because they're afraid of a possible public backlash for criticizing him.
But inside the Alouttes organization ... frustration is building -- especially with Sam recently leaving the team for 2 weeks on mysterious personal business
We're told by multiple sources that people WANT to like Sam -- and really do want to see him succeed -- but feel he's still not 100% focused on football.

I agree with his teammate. He is a drama queen (no pun intended) and a total attention whore. He is more of a diva than any of the top WRs around. The guy has talent, but he seems to care more about style over substance. He seems to care more about sensational headlines, than about working hard, grinding, improving, and trying to become a better player......and someone who can someday make it back to the NFL and have a nice career. In a way, coming out before the draft, gives him a built in excuse for failing (kind of like he didn't get a fair chance cause of his sexual orientation and so forth.)

It sickens me to see talented athletes waste their potential for bullshit, and he is doing just that. If his heart isn't fully in it, just walk away, no shame in that......but to put his teammates, coaches, and fans through that rollercoaster is shameful indeed.

Last year when Dallas had no pass rush, I was really hoping to see Sam on the field, but that never happened and then he was cut......maybe there was a reason for that. Not even on a team with no pass rush, could he find a place. Maybe the coaches saw what these Toronto players see.....a semi-committed player.
