Clownzano (as he is known in Portland) has very little credibility among the Blazer cognoscente . . . Just another click chaser . . .

Is it true that Lillard went to LA and Aldridge didn't take a meeting with him?

That's what the reports I've seen say. Apparently Aldridge was running from meeting to meeting, so all they managed was an extended conversation by text message.

As far as reports said they are total opposites, AFAIK Lillard wasnt there during the meeting.
The bad thing for Lillard is he will be more exposed than ever now that LMA is not around.

Given Portland isn't winning 35 games with their current roster, DL has literally no shot at the ASG. For guards, Paul, Russ, Curry, Harden are locks and Kobe / Thompsonlikely makes it. So probably just one guard slot left as it stands.

Exactly, no shot at all during this last ASG Lillard was real bad, ok Russ was hogging but the times Lil Lollard had the ball things went very wrong.

I think this was a good piece. And yes, Terry Stotts is fucked.

Portland's real problems date back to the JailBlazer teams. At one point, they boasted 10 guys who could start on just about any team - two complete starting 5's. They didn't even sniff a Finals appearance.

The Spurs organization has keyed on character and intelligence. The Blazers FO hired every problem child with talent they could get their hands on. It took them a long time to clean house after that mess. And "cleaning house" meant a long, long rebuilding cycle.

Brandon Roy was just a bit of really bad luck. Greg Oden, not so much. But the team continues to show signs that they haven't learned their lessons. Lilliard's tantrum over the AS snub, for instance. That franchise has so much baggage, they're going to keep struggling to get and keep good players. Aldridge did the smart thing getting out. And I really don't see much controversial about the article. He knew he was leaving, but not where. He had his stuff moved to be near his family. Seems like what most people might do.
