I'd pick the Cavs, too. They weren't far from beating GSW with their two second best players out. Plus SA has No clear path to the Finals, Cavs do.

Cavs play in the East so they are almost guaranteed a trip back. Spurs might have to go through the Thunder and Warriors.

Cavs won't make it to the finals next season.

Who's gonna knock them off? Who even has a chance?

Also, the odd of LeBron getting the AIDs are even money.

I don't get OKC.

Is it even clear that Durant will play next year (or ever)?

No they're not. They're saying Cleveland has better odds than Spurs. Look at conference champ odds for Cleveland vs. title odds and you'll see they have at best 50-50 implied odds in Finals. West is a bloodbath, East is a cakewalk.

why aren't any of Cleveland's FAs getting poached by other teams, I can't believe they are going to bring everybody back

Replacing Brooks alone improved their odds.

Lebron is clearly on the downside, he has been getting outplayed in crunch time for years. Cava way overrated. KLove suck too. Irving not all that, has his moments.

If they were to give the Spurs a 67-33 edge over the Cavs in the finals, and a 60-40 chance in each round in the West, compared to Cavs 33-67 for the Finals, but 80-20 in each round in the East, Cavs chances work out higher than Spurs. Stats.

its disgusting that most never acknowledge the level of competition Tim has faced versus the King of Ship Jumping.

How many Rings would the Spurs have won if they played in the East? 20?

Maybe Lebron loses 10 finals before it's over.

It's only because they play in the east.

Whoever comes through the west will be favorite come finals time.
