Sounds like it's Varejao and Haywood for Johnson. On paper it's a no brainer deal for the Cavs if they're going to be spending a lot on Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, and then Mozgov next year. But how is LeBron going to take losing one of his favorite teammates? James has Gilbert over a barrel. Even over the luxury tax apron I think they can do a sign and trade where they sign and trade their own guy, so maybe JR Smith could be part of it. But I'm not sure if he can be combined with Haywood in a sign and trade.

If he accepts a 6th man role, it could be a huge move..

LeBron is gonna make sure Gilbert is broke and nekked before his time is up.

Yep..Cavs franchise value went up significantly last year, LeBron isn't going to let Gilbert make bank:lol..

He's not going anywhere. That team still isn't good enough to beat the Warriors or Spurs.

34 years old, will probably average maybe 10-12 points next year, makes Kirby money, needs the ball to do anything like half the Cavs roster already. :tu great pickup :lol

Can play the Ray Allen role and hit clutch shots lebron is bereft of hitting. Solid move.

Kinda agree with jeebus, especially if they keep playing that 90s-style offense we saw in the postseason. If they play team ball the sky's the limit.

What LeBron James has been able to orchestrate in Cleveland is nothing short of extraordinary

You can try and downplay this but Johnson is solid and just another guy that can actually take over a playoff game. He is very good in the final minutes of games to.
But how are they going to get him and keep him under the cap? Isnt he getting paid the max.

How is it extraordinary when the Eastern Conference has been shit since 2008? The Nets won 38 games last season and made the 8th seed :lol

He should go to Philadelphia. A .500 record with that group of scrubs would be even more impressive than dragging last year's Cavs to within 2 wins of a title.
