She just saw this latest news about Manu, (she saw it before me :p:) and texted to say that she is going to plan her visit back here to allow her to see a game or two. This has turned into an epic off-season. I don't think there is much chance of landing West, but that would pretty much be icing on the cake. I do think at least one wily vet will see this opportunity to ring, and play for a discount.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't choose the Cavs if they make the Johnson trade and move Varejao..it would give him a role as their 4th big(since Lebron hates playing the 4), and they would be the favorites to win the title while playing in the terrible East..

If they don't make the move, though, then I agree, the Spurs have a realistic chance of acquiring him..doubt he goes to Washington, I don't see the point if he's serious about contending..

Not many players at 37 can match their stats from when they were 27. But he also played less minutes. Spurs need his versatility and playmaking for 15-20 min a game. He'll be fine and an absolute steal for his price tag.
