SPURS should start the season vs the warriors would be a perfect way to start the season smashing the champs n showing all the doubters were the best team in the NBA

Likely going to be the Rox or Grizz. But would love LAL.

Maybe Rockets since they faced em in the WCF, but holy shit, did that series even happen? I can't remember one thing about it.

Hope it's the Bobcats... no surprises...

I'd prefer a soft team to start; it's better to have a regular season game or two to gel before playing a tougher team.

Seeing as they don't exist anymore that would be tough.

from the list above, it won't likely be an East team seeing the trend of slotting us against a previous year PO match-up with a Western team..I wager it is primarily LAC or Rox/Pels..

Let's not get carried away here ... we still have no center nor third point guard.

@LAC, @HOU, @MEM, vs MEM, vs NO, etc are all good candidates

Pelicans. They destroyed our playoff run before it even started

I could see the Clips. The league probably wants to capitalize on the epic 7-game throw down that just happened a couple months ago. Even without Jordan, it will be good basketball.

I don't care who the first victim is. As long as we don't get victimized

I'm just glad they won't be playing Alba Berllin this time.

After a 45 point loss in game 3 at home they were done. That series sucked after game 2. Rockettes never should have been there, Lac choked.
Doesn't really matter who we play to me, I'll be there with my new LMA jersey :flag:

Hoping the Spurs open at home unless they play at Golden State and remind them who the real champs are.

I'm thinking either rockets or pels. It prob won't be a thursday game cause tnt is probably going to get cavs as the early game and warriors as late game of a double header

Id be cool with either of those. Haven't seen Davis in person yet so that would be kind of cool. Hopefully hope opener tickets don't get stupidly expensive after the big offseason.
