I've finally had my account here activated after reading everything for months, so I'm not a total noob.

Anyways, I want to share a thought I had. If the Spurs would have (somehow) won the sixth title this year, as awesome it would have been, would we be in the position we are now? Duncan and Manu probably would have retired, LMA would never have looked to sign here (without Duncan), we would have lost all the same Free Agents, and who knows if Pop would have stayed.

So in a way, last season was a blessing in disguise. We'll see moving forward. If we can win #6 this year, then it truly will be!

I'll trade LMA and West for #6 in a hurry, tbh...

I'm not picking them to win this next year much less any after Duncan and Ginobili are gone.

I'd be happy with 1 more for Duncan and West who all but paid for a ring with that size of a paycut and transition to the new Era with Leonard and aldridge

Me too tbh. As long as Duncan gets #6, doesn't really matter what happens beyond that.....Then again I was happy with 5. :lol

I actually agree with OP. We had to trade 2013 Finals for the 2014 triumph to be so gilded and we had to trade 2015 playoffs for the potentially solid future were in position to see unfold now.
