On the one hand, Cuban was trolled to an extent I never even thought existed. He's going to make Dan Gilbert's 'The Letter' look like The Fault in Our Stars. Plus both the LAC and Deandre Jordan were revealed to be basically the worst people operating in the NBA.

On the other hand, LAC - the team that eliminated the Spurs - saved its season tonight. They were a garbage fire at C if DJ left, but now they replaced Barnes with Paul Pierce, got Stephenson, and brought back the rest of the gang.

I thought at first this was bad news for the Spurs, but now that I think about it, it's probably good news that the Spurs' division gets a little less competitive, while the Warriors' division gets a little more. If 1 or 2 games decides who gets the 1 seed between us and the Dubs, this could be huge.

Who cares? those stats mean nothing. Its about match-ups, and the clippers were only pop's beneficiary of shitty rotations. Spurs were in control missing 3 of their starters (i included Green here) and were a terrible call and lucky shot making their RD 1 victory.

Its a good day for the Spurs. They look classier than ever. This news will be the talk of the town and they can go back to being under-the-radar, for the most part, until the season begins.

It also prevents the Spurs from being looked upon as the Cavs - easy road to finals - and when they beat the Clips in the playoffs, it will raise their stock even more.

This is a reminder to the rest of the league that words are wind, and that some players are going to feel a much stronger connection with their team than to their agent; that''s probably how the Spurs kept guys like Patty and Green at such a low price, not even counting Manu and Timmy.

Basketball wise this is probably a wash unless the Spurs don''t 3-1 or 4-0 the Mavs next season. The division gets weaker since the Mavs will be worse now, but the Clippers are a very strong team until they have a chance to make it to the WCF, so if the Spurs don't do well in the regular season it could make for another tough first round. If the Spurs do well, the first few games of the 2nd round could be tough.
