Just wondering how much worse the Spurs defense will be next season and if Pop will be able to improve the offense with LMA to make up for it.

His flaws aside, glad to have him..This team needed an automatic 20-22 pt guy after Tony decline..Leave the rest to Pop to figure out how best to utilize him for the betterment and benefit of the whole squad..

Man that quick release jump shot. Seemed to rip the net every time.

I wonder how many threes he shoots this year

Tbh, he is not too flashy. More smooth and controlled like TD so the highlights just confirm that he is a great yet understated, efficient player like most Spur greats before him.

analyzing the footage, I'd say he hits around 100% of his shots. A slight upgrade from Tiago.

He is kinda like a Duncan/Dirk hybrid when he is on his game. Has a better interior game and post moves than Dirk. Has a better outside game but less inside moves than Duncan. Better rebounder than Dirk, worse than Duncan. Great passer in the post. Hopefully he can just let the offense flow naturally while crashing the boards, concentrating on D and make smart decisions and passes. I hope he retires a Spur.

West and LMA are both + defenders.

His game is definitely like Dirk and KD. Hope he does less long 2 though.

His game is definitely like Dirk and KD. Hope he does less long 2 though. I was thinking the same thing but if that's what works for him that's what works for him. That would be like telling KD and Dirk to stop taking long jumpers, but that's their game. Be like telling Kyle Korver to get to the basket more instead of jacking 3s but that's what works for him. I look forward to seeing how his game translates as a Spur.

His midrange is damn near automatic. And IDK why people giving him shit about his defense. People make it sound like he is Kevin Love on defense. He is an above average defender and will be even better in Pop's system. If not, West will handle the rest.

I thought Co Jo was okay but he is vastly overrated by some fans IMO, good on D but wold stall the O alot of times IMO. Belli was a good volume shooter (Who was horrible on D), better his first year although he did have a good series against LAC. Splitter was good on D and at times around the basket when he was not going up VERY weak and getting blocked or missing on his own looking hesitant out there but LMA is an all star for Gods sakes! Not as good on D but overall way better. Splitter is an average player in the NBA, good role player at best. Baynes was just a decent guy off the bench and lets be honest nothing special at all, he had some plays and could D up from time to time but he is a 3rd big at MOST in this league and very replaceable. West is a lot better.

Spurs got better off LMA alone and the fact they also added West and now Mcallum makes it even better.
He can jump about 4" off the ground lol

:lol not a very high vert but Splitter could only jump about 1" off the ground it seemed so an upgrade there even.

That shot at the 38 second mark. If Aldridge ends up taking long twos from a foot inside the 2 point line instead of swinging the ball to an open KL or Green for three, I'm gonna have to slap a b____ up.

That used to drive me bat shit crazy when Willie Anderson and DelNegro would do that shit.
