I like the first spurs logo better than the current one. In fact, the throwback 90's logo from the Alamodome Era is pretty popular on caps and such.

Half the logos seem to slightly alter the color of the logos and pass it off as a new one.

The Blazers haven't really either, they just have adjusted what goes around the pinwheel since they were founded 45 years ago. Timeless.

For that matter, neither really have the Spurs, minus the Taco Cabana logo which had no impact on the color scheme or jerseys.

The second one was for Portland imo. Anyways, it suggests a strong tradition when you don't have to change your color scheme/primary logo every 10 years.

Half the logos seem to slightly alter the color of the logos and pass it off as a new one.

That is significant, teams alter their look, brighten and darken colors and what not. Look at Denver's most recent two, they more or less are the same logo but look slightly different.
