I don't like the nominees for this, but it kinda makes sense why AD and DJ are on this list. Because unlike Kawhi, every player in the league has to meet those 2 guys at the rim where they will get their shot blocked or at least altered. So everyone has experienced how tough it is to go at those guys. I understand that big men in the league don't usually have to be guarded by Kawhi so that's probably a good chunk of votes lost. BUT I still don't understand how the two other wing players beat out Kawhi(also Draymond) because they are very versatile defenders. I'm sure these players watch the games or hear from their wing teammates how tough it is to play against Kawhi. I might not like these awards because it may end up being the same people every year other than the rookies...
