This has been the best offseason since signing TD.

Now it is going to be the longest. I've never been so ready for the NBA season to start.

Eh. I think it's not too early. LA, West, and the Lord of the Rings looking foreign player need time to get adapted into the Spurs system.

Plus, the Spurs still need to lose to ALBA Berlin to really get the season started.

Will you still be excited if the Spurs start out 11 - 19?

the 2013 UNT football team was awesome...had the talent to go 12-0, tbh. Ended up blowing the last game of the year in a shocking upset at home to shit ass UTSA and had to play (won big) in a relatively insignificant bowl.

The campus at the moment sucks ass. The fucking student union has been under demolition and reconstruction and a gaping mess for 2 years now.

I can wait. New players means a lot of adjustment.

Whatever happened with cutting down the preseason games and starting the season early to reduce the back to backs?

Right now I see the NBA has preseason games scheduled all the way to October 17 in Brazil, which means the regular season probably won't start until late October like usual.

It will happen too, some will panic with games dropping early on and adjustments and you will see tons of threads on it.

The 2013 off season was the longest for me, tbh. I was ready for the 2014 season to start the second the Spurs lost the 2013 Finals. I knew that we had the best team and that a championship was inevitable; and it was hard to take going one more year without the ring when you have Duncan at the helm.

I'll admit that this off season has seemed long; but at least we can kind of enjoy the suspenseful build-up unlike two off seasons ago.

Old guys need the rest and the young guys could use the time for better preparation. KA specifically can continue to get in much better shape. Simmons can use the time to smooth out some of his flaws. New guys need the time for practice.

As a fan though I can't wait.

yeah I asked about that in another thread as well ... obviously a lot of hot air produced by Stern junior and nothing else ... not learning despite the number of injuries which severely hurt the quality of the playoffs

i hope Kawhi Leonard continues to add new tools to his game, like new offensive moves, better ballhandling, better driving, etc

from a practical standpoint, the barometer of power could be LaMarcus and Leonard,

they can carry us through the regular season
