This..I would probably drag Clippers/Thunder a tier down because of questions on OKC's health and Clippers's mental fortitude and the D for both teams..

Spurs too high.

I'd rank them after warriors, cavs, clippers.

Cavs will be interesting with a declining Lebron that has the most mileage in NBA history in a 6-year stretch IIRC..I wonder if he's going to accept a reduced role during the regular season, and whether they will actually use a system in the playoffs..

It is good to be in the EAST..Cavs and Lebron could coast big time and they are sure to get #1 seed..No way Atlanta is replicating 60 win season..And i wonder if Cleveland will even bother to keep pace with Western Conf top seed for Finals HC adv..

36 minutes per game, 70 games or less, more passing less scoring. Still best player in league by a mile. All NBA kyrie getting closer to his prime, no more big minutes for white aussie scrub. no more 19-20 start because dion cancer is gone. easy coasting in the NBDL-East conference. If jew coach doesn't manage Love minutes then he will be fired.

Lock for 62+ wins

The steroid testing this year should pay big dividends in a potential Finals matchup.

nah, more like 20... you also have to remember the West has the T-Wolves and Kings, Blazers and Nuggets will also be bad and there's at least 5 teams out east that will be worse...

Blasphemy to put a LeBrick-led Leastern team over us, tbh

Now the Warriors, I could see.

I don't like the Pelicans long-term outlook with Evans and Gordon on the roster, but I think they're going to be really nice this year, tbh..upgrading Monty to the best Black coach in the league and another year of growth for Davis(barring injury) with a healthy Holiday should be good for a locked playoff spot IMO..

Utah is going to be good, too, if Gobert stays healthy IMO..continuity is huge in the NBA, particularly during the regular season while all the newly assembled teams are trying to find chemistry..

Clear 7th seed barring injury to a top 6 team (i.e. OKC) ... who gets the 8th seed is going to be interesting. Blazers are going to be bottom feeders, Mavs are probably a 30-35 win team... Lakers, Kings and Wolves are still the Lakers, Kings and Wolves, and the Nuggets aren't much better. To me it's between the Suns and Jazz. Jazz had a long winning streak near the 3/4 mark of last season and they should have a +.500 record this coming year if they stay healthy. The Suns have upgraded though the hole at PF isn't a blessing, they can always keep Markieff until an opportunity for an upgrade comes along. If Mirza Teletovic's heart is alright he can be a heck of a weapon off the bench like Channing Frye was back when they won 49 games as the 9 seed.

Pelicans are easily a 50 win team next year,,,Davis is the LeBron James of basketball in the paint and its starting to show.

HarlemHeat37

Ya, I agree, I think it'll be Phoenix or Utah, too..maybe the Mavs, but they would need everything to work out perfectly(Parsons and Matthews fully recovering from injury, particularly the latter, and Deron Williams giving a fuck and not clashing with Carlisle)..

Mavs over Utah for the 8th spot in the west.

I can actually see the Jazz making a fight for the 7th seed if they remain health, tbh. I just don't like the make-up of that Pelicans team.

Gordon will be a free agent after this season. Evans has only two years left and his contract isn't as bad now with the cap increase. Key is Holiday staying healthy and improving the overall defense. Basically the entire team is back from last season. Only thing changed is a new staff which should be a tremendous upgrade.
