I have been recently streaming Netfix on my new laptop (2 weeks old), through my T-Mobile service at work. I am really surprised that the quality is as good as it is. Full HD on the laptop, and never a glitch in the signal. The speed is fast enough, and the laptop (MSI Leopard) fast enough, that it streams far clearer than both my bluray players and smart TV. Only my PS3 and new tower (6 months old?) on my hardwired Comcast gives challenge to the quality.
MSI GP70 Leopard
Intel Core i7-4720HQ 2.6 GHz Processor
8 GB DDR3L SDRAM
1 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
17.3-Inch Screen 1920 x 1080
NVIDIA Geforce GTX950M w/2GB

I get a 5GB matching for my lines, and I can pay more for more data. 5GB is more than I need. I was just very surprised how good Netfix was through it.

...and if you have a nexus, they don't have any say on your tethering

Netflix seems to preload a big portion of what you're watching.
There have been a few occasions where I'm watching something on Netlix and I get signed off without realizing it but still able to see the whole shit.

You have so many GB per billing period. Once that is used up, your speed is throttled down below the "up to" 40(?) MB/sec. Question should be, what is it throttled down to...
I did a speed test once on my T-Mobil to my computer, and had 34 MBPS. If I recall, I was told I would get as fast as 60 MBPS. Depends on the nearby tower load.
I should do it again, and before the end of my billing period, run it out and test again.
I think it's slowed down to EDGE speeds which would be 1.6 MBPS max.

I know one person who uses it and once he uses it for 15 minutes heavy surfing they slow him down he thinks it is great so it does not use his bandwidth up
I think it sucks
