Patty sometimes plays point, but mostly Manu is actually playing point with Patty effectively as a small 2 guard. That's why I said a couple of times I think Patty's effectiveness will decline if Manu retires. But I do agree with you that Patty and Jimmer likely couldn't play together.

OMG! You guys don't know how many times I wanted to make a thread about getting Jimmer or even just mention him in the what FA thread do you want thread(s). I withheld because I figured I'd take ten degrees of ****. But I've always thought Jimmer would be a good fit for the Spurs. I thought he was a better fit a few years ago when he had a chance for more minutes b/c he's a player that plays better the more minutes he gets. But I'm hoping he earns a roster spot and does well for us, nonetheless. He's a guy who can really knock down those open threes in a system that's committed to ball movement and finding the open guy.
