When Timmy, Manu, and Pop retire, ya think anyone's gonna make a movie about the Spurs? or would they refuse the spectacle of the whole thing?

Also what are your favorite Spurs videos? mine's this Spurs Tribute (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9QsbTqlv3k)... can watch it nearly endlessly lol

"...Because [Pop] understands that all he needs are guys with heart. Guys who will go the extra mile. Guys with confidence in their ability to improve. Not satisfied with where they are right now. And that's why Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs are so successful, why they're in contention every single year, when the media counts them out for being too old. You don't have to be that fast and quick when you move the ball around. The ball moves a lot faster than people do..."

I think years from now they will do a 30 for 30 on the Spurs or have some documentary on their championship runs.

I don't know about a movie, but there will definitely be an ESPN: 30 for 30 special dedicated to the spurs championship runs.

I could see a 30 for 30 centering around Timmy and Pop's relationship and how it lead to multiple championship runs.

The movie will be more likely years from now when the legend has grown. 2014 was too perfect a story. The idiots that brought the ropes and started to prepare for a victory with 28 seconds left on the clock really set that one up. It's not like a tied game was that unlikely. It sure played well for the press. Then the long road to "Redemption!" the greatest comeback in the history of sports.

Those are solid choices for Pop. :lol

Tim would be pretty difficult to cast though.

What's probably already in the works is the "Becky Hammon Story". Maybe put Hayden Panettiere in the lead role.

What if I told you that not all dynasties win back-to-back championships. :bang
