Anyone selling a computer?

XP will run fine on a 500 128 machine. I've done it before. But let me know if you do, I'll take it off your hands. I don't feel like spending as much as it would take for a new machine (even though I probably would be better off)

With 128 I'd either run Windows 2000 or get a little more RAM which should be pretty cheap...

Just teasing.. I am a video game developer for a living nowdays so I have to have top of the line machines. Lot of number crunching....

We've been giving them away. Actually, they weren't our companys. Assurant gave them to us so that we could access their WAN years ago (before I started working here) but they've sinced moved things onto the internet.

I guess they didn't want to spend the money on having them shipped back, so they just asked us to dispose of them.

I'll gladly do that. :)

I got mine running right now (I'm posting on it) and everything is working just dandy. I popped in another stick of RAM to 256k and its running great.

I'll have at least one to get rid of, anyone who wants it can just PM me.
