hard to just rank them in a vacuum... Ellis is a great fit for Indiana, but he wouldn't be as good for the Spurs as Danny Green is.
but all things considered, i'd put Korver and Carroll at 4 and 5, respectively. If matthews is fully recovered from his injury, he's better than Green.
on teams that need their SG to be a playmaker and a top 2 option...
1) Ellis
2) Matthews
3) Green
on teams that have other sources of offense and need a glue guy
1) Matthews
2) Green
3) Ellis
these rankings assume Matthews is fully recovered from his injury, and i'm not taking contract values into consideration.

Ellis due to his offensive explosiveness is in another echeleon from the rest of the scrubs.
But then including defense in the equation the rest of the scrubs would go like this:
Matthews - if 100% healthy big IF
Green
Koorver
Caroll

Ellis and healthy Wes are far superior to Gree. And its not close.only dumb homers would disagree
But Green is the leader of the remaining scrubs.

I'd add that I'm assuming Wes is Healthy.
From an overall talent standpoint, obviously Mathews and Ellis are 1 and 2...but I doubt anyone wins anything with Ellis.

like i said, it really depends on the team they're playing for. the spurs would downgrade going from green to ellis, whereas a team like memphis could prefer ellis

I can't think of a team where I'd want Ellis over Green. You want an undersized guard to hold the ball? Get a point-guard. That's especially true for a team like Indy where George is going to have the ball a ton.

Green works on teams where they have zero need for their 2 to create anything offensively. Ellis works for teams that need an offensive creator. green has obvious limitations on one end, and not every team can afford to deal with it
