Yeah I know. It's sad that people have to be low-key with this. NBA.com should have every fucking Finals game ever recorded for sale. People just want to be able to appreciate the classic games in this sport.

NBA should have every finals game ever available for free streaming. They aren't going to make nearly as much revenue selling videos as they do selling tickets and merchandise.

They won't ship to the U.S. though. You'd have to have a Euro buddy buy it and ship it to you to use Pontel.

Damn there used to be a really high quality torrent of all 7 games in mkv format. It's the source I used to rip my sig of Bowen's three in Game 7. :lol

It's on NBA TV every now and again. I recorded it on NBA TV last August, according to my DVR. So maybe it will be on again this August.

Apparently the NBA is actually working on archiving as many NBA games as possible, for virtually every decade, so that it in fact can sell the games or offer a service. They unlike other leagues own their own film, and in many cases it could be very high quality, even for the old stuff because actual film was used.

It's been in the works for 7 or 8 years, and I remember an article a year ago saying that the NBA had already come a long way.

Keep an eye on iTunes as well, because they have the last 2 years of playoffs on there (CF's and Finals, and some isolated series), and some other stuff.

Found this story while searching for sites that sell archived games. Talks about how the NBA is halfway finished (articles is from 2014) digitizing its entire NBA library for online viewing...

Looks like Perry mason and I read the same article...

I used to have some little crappy quality videos of the MDM, the Spurs winning the Duncan lottery, and David Robinson dunking on the entire Pacers front line. It would be neat to see those things in high def after all these years.

Go to Amazon.com and try to buy the box set of 16 discs, each Finals win in our first four championships. Not that expensive and a must have!
