I saw him. Good player. yep...did a short stint with the...yep...Texas Rangers.

Didn't know there was a documentary. Will check it out.

Anyone remember J.R. Richards? That was a bad nigga. Would have liked to see what his career would have been if he hadn't had the health issues.
Imagine...him and Nolan on the same team.

Not into baseball my friend.

I did read up on the old negro leagues with Satchal Paige, "Cool Papa" Bell and Josh Gibson, doing a study of mine on blacks in sport. Sure I;ve heard of Dock Ellis, Mays, McCovery, Willie Davis etc.

"Cool Papa" was so fast he once hit a grounder between first and second. While rounding first for second he had to jump over the grounder to keep from stepping on it, cat was fast!

that documentary is awesome. only seen like, the second half. good shit though.
