Don't root for anyone outside of the Spurs tbqh. But there are a few players that I think would be good fits for the org, like Victor Oladipo in Orlando. There are also players whose games I admire...LeBron, Davis. But I would never root for any of them outside of a Spurs uni tbqh.

His dad was the Spurs starting point guard in the 85-86 season.

John Wall and Vince Carter. I am sure there is some others that I am forgetting about. MKG as well, although he has kind of been a bust. Hoping he can turn it around this year. Any Lville players in the pros.

I don't remember the exact question, but he was the answer to a Spurs trivia question last year. It was a game against the Blazers IIRC...

[Not including former Spurs]

Steph Curry (been my favorite for a couple years. Out of everyone in the NBA I want his game the most)
Anthony Davis (guy is incredible on both ends. Super young and will be best in the NBA in a few years)
DeMarcus Cousins (from my hometown)
Kobe Bryant (always enjoyed what this man was able to do. Probably all time fav to watch)
John Wall (The speed and athleticism)
Russell Westbrook (Freak of nature. Tenacious.)
Klay Thompson (Love to watch this guy shoot. I think it's going in almost every time. When he gets hot, he gets hot)

These players excite me on a nightly basis. Love to watch these guys play.

David West was my favorite non-Spur. He came out of Xavier, which is essentially my hometown team, with the campus two miles from my house.

I pull for Jason Maxiell, out of UCincinnati, but he's just a journeyman NBA player. At this point, there's not much to see.

And I pull for Jeremy Lin from my alma mater, because he's a Harvard guy in the NBA. I don't expect a resurgence of Linsanity, but I hope he does well (but not at the expense of the Spurs).

There are other players I like and respect--like Dirk Nowitzki--but I don't really pull for them.

D. Rose (seems like a nice kid, would like to see him return to his MVP level) - Giannis ( countryman and a solid character ) - Al Jefferson ( like his post stuff) - M. Gasol (love the way he improved from a big oaf to a superskilled C) - Dirk ( great guy, pure stroke, the Spursiest of the non-Spurs)

Aldridge used to be my fave non Spur no joke, mainly because he was on my fantasy team a few years on end and I followed him. I used to be a huge Wade fan back in the 00's tbh, didn't like him as much later when Bron went there though tbh but when they beat Dallas that year and he went in to God mode I was happy as hell. I am a big fan of Dirk, Durant is cool and probably Anthony Davis in which I think is going to be the next great PF in this league. I also like Curry and wish Rose can stay healthy for a whole season again so we can see him hopefully return to form.

You about named every player I can't stand to say the least. I would take off Shaq though and add Howard to that list of mine and also add Harden and take off Chauncey. I don't hate any of the Pistons to be honest on there but that is a pretty good list of guys that I seriously could not stand currently or in the past. Shane Battier could be on a list and glad we retired him ALONG with Fisher last year during our title run, that felt great to beat them bastards.

JET is my most hated of all times though, hands DOWN.

I wish all the former spurs well. I miss them sometimes... :rolleyes

I don't really watch other teams, but I liked Aldridge b4 he was a Spur.

I really like to follow young guys in the league to see if they develop. Currently, D'Angelo Russell intrigues me. His court vision and passing have the potential to be special once he develops.

I like Boris Diaw and David West back when they are Spurs nemesis- also Aldridge recently. Now we finally have them!

I like Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis as well. Don't think they will ever be Spurs but what do you know?

Agreed, I only put Shaq because he was with them, but Howard Harden Wade and Battier are pure evil shit, Pistons were good people except Sheed and his ugly mouth.
Dirk doesnt seem to be a bad dude, but you know he is in one side, and me/lots spurfans in the other side.

Pau Gasol

That's about it. Used to like Dirk but Cuban's shitty attitude makes me dislike all Mavericks.

Though I also always kinda pull for guys who weren't deemed to be "good" but worked their asses off to get there (Danny Green, Jimmy Butler, etc).

Jordan Clarkson (Filipinos represent)
George Hill (Prodigal son)
John Henson (Love his game but can't shoot a freethrow)
Kemba Walker (Iverson lite)
Andrew Wiggins (Potential beast)
Dirk Nowitzki (Good guy on a jerk team)
Blake Griffin (Highlight reel - Shawn Kemp 2.0)
Anthony Davis (Future Spurs)
Andre Drummond (Future DPOY)
Avery Bradley (Best defensive PG IMHO)
Marc Gasol (Most Spurs-like player that's a non Spurs)

I tend to like guys with unusual talents/skillsets (Boris Diaw), and 100% high energy guys (Kenneth Faried)

honestly, if westbrook played for any other franchise other than OKC, DAL, LAL, HOU, GS, id probably love him.

Favorite non Spur is Marc Gasol.

Yep, very Spursy player and character. I also like Anthony Davis and root for him and the Pels when they aren't playing the Spurs. I will be rooting for Justin Anderson, and I was hoping the Spurs would draft him. Even though he is now a Mav he is a former Cav (UVA, that is).

I like to see all former Spurs do well, but I especially root for George Hill and James Anderson. Now I will really root for Cojo and Baynes.

Dirk Nowitzki is far and away my favorite non-Spur and has been for a long time. Rooted hard for the Mavs in 2011 after the Grizz knocked out the Spurs (but only then) and was happy to see a great player with the kind of character that Dirk has get his.

Still pull for George Hill, too.

I'm pretty sure my dog has spent more time on the UT campus than Durant. Another reason to hold Tim Duncan in high esteem. Oh I get why kids bolt after their freshman year. It's a lot of cash......:convertib
