:tu Finally get to see Johnny Depp doing a "normal" role instead of some affected oddball.

As to the trailer song, I guess they could have gone with Gimme Shelter like all the others.

I hope it's good but I'd be willing to bet after it comes out the main verdict will be "I liked it better as 'The Departed'"

Decent. Good acting but moved pretty slow. Feel like they could have done better with it. Depp was great though.

Solid movie imo. 7.5/10, it was kinda slow but I liked the way it built up and progressed, it showed what a sinister and terrifying person Depp's character really was. But he was pretty damn good in this movie, he got the icy stare-through-your-soul look down pretty well. The scene where he was feeling up Connoly's wife was pretty intense

Black Mass- Although it does not nave the charm of gangster films such as Goodfellas or Godfather, I thought it was a very good gangster film…Johnny Depp at times was freighting…I did not think the film was slow & I did not even notice the music…The sound effects were not over powering..Every line of dialogue was crystal clear…An interesting story...:tu
