It's a shame, bc both of these guys are talented. But I guess nobody ever taught them how to be a consummate pro.

Don't want him.

Meh, Phoenix did handle the situation poorly. AFAIK, they both took hefty discounts to stay in Phoenix, so trading one of the brothers out of the blue is kinda shitty.

Yeah there's seriously a 0% chance we go after Markieff :lol Him demanding a trade is a complete non-issue from the Spurs side of things.

To be fair, Markieff is the more talented brother. He just needs to be in a good situation so a team can maximize his talents. He also needs more discipline. Wonder what team is interested?

The suns won't let go on him that easy, he's like a young David West...

this is so non-Spurs related ... Spurs need a jump shooting power forward like a shot in the head ...

He is the more talented of the two and is on a nice contract. Phoenix in general was undisciplined last season with tecs and late game execution.

We already have David West, and about 6 other guys that can/do/ or are projected to play at the 4. WTF with another one, arguably with a bad attitude. Skin is on crack if he thinks we need him as a good backup at 4. There is a fucking logjam. LMA, TD, Boris, West, Bonner, Small Ball Kawhi, and Anderson some are projecting to bulk him up and have him play there, as well. Thus him saying we need another one like we need a hole in the head.
Defensive Center, or SF, if anything.
The Suns are being unprofessional? He is being disrespected? Him and his brother charged with assault outside of a night club? Etc?
No. Thank. You. Even if we needed a power forward, which we do not! We have one of every flavor.
???
You wrote that Spurs need shooting power forward. If LMA and West is not enough, who you want ?

Headcase. Won't last long in the NBA if he doesn't grow up.

He was dumb for taking a discount on the premise that he'd be with his brother tbqh. Phoenix could've handled it better, but the NBA is a business and Phoenix made a business decision.

Spurs are the best organization in the league in part because of the way we treat those we have to part with due to "business" decisions. Except for headcases like Stephen Jackson or Nick Van Exel, that is.
Examples: trading George Hill to his hometown Pacers, Malik Rose to the Knicks, and Splitter to a similar system with Bud in Atlanta. The Spurs take care of their guys.

you were pretty close. the phrase is actually more like "we need another jump-shooting power forward like a hole in the head"

He said they're big boys now and can play on separate teams. I believe the #'s show they play better together.

It's not out of the blue. They're both in trouble with the law, facing felony charges of aggravated assault. The smart move would have been to dump both of them.
