Unless the guy in the 2nd video was streaming and someone else uploaded the footage, I'm going to assume he's aalive.

Why any densely populated city would have a chemical factory in the middle of it is beyond me

RIP china men

Is that an old pic of Los Angels after the Rodney king verdict?

I actually find it strange that this type of thing doesn't happen at least three times a year.

And who knows before Tweets and Facebook how many other explosions they were able to keep from leaking out to the world media.

I thought by now China,Pakistan,India,Russia, and others would by now had accidentally set off a large Nuke.

You figure by now someone at some time would have tripped over a sensitive wire, spilled coffee on a dangerous electrical switch or dropped a large metal tool into some reactor or control room and set something off or some crazy stressed out worker or someone who just lost his family or his wife to a black man would lose it and decides to die and take a city or town with him.

sad shit.

i guess it's better it happened at midnight as opposed to during the day when i assume more people would be outside. absolutely tragic regardless though.

I don't see chemicals exploding that blast has the look of a natural gas explosion.

This man exposes China's failed cover up.

The dash cam video is pretty intense. It shows a guy pulling up to a parking lot attendant to enter and you see the dark night sky in the background and then boom, the sky is lit up like the Sun exploded.

The county where the explosion happened is part of our metro, about 20 miles away from the downtown area where I live. It is more like a satellite city of our metro, a major economic powerhouse and a densely populated area. I was in another city when the explosion happened, and when I read the news online I couldn't even believe it tbh. My hometown is like the safest of all the major cities and metros in China, and the last catastrophe of such scale I can remember can be dated back to the 1970s when the Tangshan earthquake struck. Only difference is, earthquake was natural disaster that couldn't be prevented, but this one was mostly caused by people's imprudence and could've been avoided. Someone has to take responsibility for this shit, tbh.

Thanks bro, there's as good a distance between our home and the explosion as that between Dallas and Fort Worth tbh.

CCTV said some of the apartments were way too close to the blast site. 600 meters from it when in reality they're supposed to be 1000 meters away.
