Cooks & Robinson both have very impressive TDs for the Saints. Browner limped off earlier but I'm sure he's fine.

Everyone seems to think Cooks blows up this year and will be heavily involved in their offense.

Oh yeah, forgot about this.

looking at the box score, I see Captain Kirk is looking good...his typical fool's gold showing before he implodes after the 3rd week. McChrist is looking decent, would be a nice backup for the inevitable RG3andOut collapse/injury.

His first step may be the fastest in the NFL this season. He caught a little bubble screen and he was in the endzone before blinking.

Wait until ya get a look at Colt rookie receiver Philip Dorsett.

Jonas Gray!!!!!

When the Packers line up Jordy Nelson on one side and Jeff Janis on the other, that is the fastest pair of white receivers to ever be on an offense at the same time........ever! Nelson a Kansas state 100m champ. Janis a 4.30 flyer. Janis the first Packer to score in 2015.

Why is the Cowboy game black outed on the NFL Network in Cali, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~~~~~~

The biggie in the first week for me....Winston vs Mariota. Beings rookies we should get a longer look than the vets.

:lol He called a blitz on 4th & 20. I know none of the players on the field at the time on either side are gonna be on the roster, but still, that was just plain ignorant. He's proven to be terrible and unintelligent.

Pumped to see the Amari Cooper - Derek Carr combo on the field tomorrow. AC/DC :tu

Also crabtree has supposedly been the big surprise in camp... Would be cool to see a bounce back season given he's on a 1-year prove it deal

If Carr makes a leap this year we should be able to push 8-8. Last year he was thrown in there as a week 1 starter despite getting virtually no reps with the starters in camp. Not the case this year + 1 season of experience under his belt and improved weapons

Raider back Latavius Murray is 6-3 225? That can't be right.

Speaking of Raiders.

They had the worst offense in the league in 2014, yep, ranked 32. I definately don't see that in 2015. The addition of Cooper and Crabtree, huge. Murray a big upgrade also. Carr with some experience. I do see them being in the middle of the pack.

Anxious to see Cooper in the NFL.

I just looked at the schedule and I'm anxious to see preseason week 3. Oakland vs. Arizona on NBC.

Cooper will probably see the most time in that game and it will be vs. Patrick Peterson and The Honeybadger. Let's see what he does that game...

we played the cards pretty tough last year, should be a good game... but our secondary is really shaky. a lot of young unproven dudes. palmer should be able to pick them apart unless our pass rush really brings it

Actually it brought about memories of Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, the old Oiler. I also thought of former Texas speedster little (145) Tony Jones a 20.2 cat, another speedy Oiler. Then there was Herkie Walls, remember him?

Man I'm not old as shit like you.:lol I do know about Billy Johnson though. My dad talked about him.

I went to high school during the Moon era...Ernest Givens, Haywood Jeffires, Curtis Duncan, Webster Slaughter, Lorenzo White, etc. Had some good defensive players during that time too with Dishman, Lathon, Childress, Fuller and Al Smith.

Coaching held them back tbh.

Ask your dad about the the human fire hydrant Charley Tolar all 5-5 of him, he ws the Oilers fist 1000 yard rusher.

Those Warren Moon teams were exciting, Givens a lot like Lockett.

Jameis Winston:

1st series- One incomplete pass...bunch of handoffs to Doug Martin
2nd series- Awful. Sacked once. Two incomplete passes. 3 and out...
3rd series- Finally put a drive together. After getting sacked for -10 yards, he found V. Jackson for a 50 yard bomb. Ending up with a FG.

5th series: Atrocious. High snap that was almost fumbled...resulting in a 10 yard loss. 3 and out.
6th series: See 5th series
7th series: By FAR his best series of the game. 5/6 passing. Drove the Bucs down the field with a few 20 yard passes. Finished it off with a 10 yard TD run. It was against the Vikings 2nd team defense...

Probably done for the night.

Okay then Avante....show me the post I made where I said that this wasn't his 1st NFL game.

After you find that post, show the post I made where I said that his first half of football will tell me everything I need to know about the guy.

Then after you find both of those posts, find the one I made where I said that Winston had to play like Tom Brady in his first NFL game to not be considered a bust.

Good luck with that Avante. I know it's the guys 1st game...and I'm willing to cut him all the slack in the world because of it. I'll give him the same luxury I give every other rookie in the NFL. You've got 2-3 YEARS to show me what you've got. I'm not willing to start hearing trade options because of one half of preseason football.

Football speed is a different monster.
The ability to start, stop and change directions quickly rules. This ability is known as acceleration. Eric Metcalf was a better football player than all mentioned with the exception of Charles if he stays healthy. The End.

All I did was post what he did on every series he had. At no point did I say that his NFL future will be based on what he did for 7 series in a NFL Preseason game.

You're just looking too deep into those two posts...and trying to find things that simply are not there.

So do you run in straight lines in a lane?

Football at its very basic level is about chasing and being chased. Of course it helps to be fast. But we have seen the failures in trying to make track guys football players.

Stop now before you get mired in another track/football fail.
Where did you play football, what year, and what level?

Herschel Walker 10.23
Deion Sanders 10.26
Darrel Green 10.08
Bo Jackson 10.33

Then I could knock out another 100 track guys on NFL rosters.
