"I don't like change," Aldridge said. "That's been a little bit difficult for me, trying to get used to a new city. I got lost like twice yesterday. That's not fun.

So it was a little premature to think he will be a quick learner of the Spurs system ...

I don't think it will take long to see if he is really in with he program. Everything sounds good to a player but when you have to actually put up in this system, some guys might not be able to.

He has done several charity events, USA basketball camp, Spurs practices (learning a new system). Yeah it's though. But that is why you get the salary you do.

Change is hard, but I am sure Timmy/Pop will toughen him up mentally. LMA really just never had a mentoring player at Portland to model himself by. Duncan had Robinson when he first entered the league, although Tim was pretty mature himself at the time. Tim has mentioned in numerous interviews that Drob did help him mature faster as a player and person.

A driver or a house for his shoes......

Cut the man some slack already. He's got tough decisions to make.

Pretty cool LMA takes the time to talk to media and share his relocating experience with the fans. A lesser man would probably be like I got my max contract so now I don't do media.

:lol

I appreciate Aldridge's candor. It's nice to have players like him and Green to balance out Kawhi and Tim.

Aldridge received some criticism from people of this board for not making his decision just when FA started and I find these unfair.
Picking a new team was the biggest decision of his professional life. You can't blame him for looking at all the options in depth. At the end, it took him 3,4 days to pick Spurs which is quick considering how big of a choice it was for his career.

I worked a NIOSA booth and got totally turned around even though I took VIA trans down town.

Lol at some people actually thinking this is worthy of ridicule. Guy moves his life to a new city he's unfamiliar with, does tons of press and interviews, all while preparing and playing for Team USA. And he's a little worn out because of it.. The humanity!!

It's more than the one way streets. Most city centers have those. Its the retarded way the streets are laid out. It's an amalgamation of sort-of grids oriented every which way.

Agree with the struggle is real crowd. I spend more time making sure Im just driving the right way down a one way than doing much mental mapping.
