I had Curry pegged as a great talent in college. I even tanked in my keeper league (when I did fantasy) to get him. Ah well.... His heads getting a bit too big now though. Spurs need to level him.

I give him 3 years. He is a great shooter, but dude takes some of the most bullshit shots I've ever seen. Once those stop falling, he is gonna quickly fall back to Earth.

Alpha Iggy was the heart and soul of that team, and the only reason that the faggot brothers both didn't become laughingstocks in the finals

He was injury prone for so long early on, it was easy to dismiss him.

If you guys coulda only got there you'd a come around again & bagged that bastard. At this very moment you'd be on the beach collecting 20% on that cherry bustin' back-to-back. Instead? You got a 2nd 5th & no repeat. That fucker Repeat? He went on down to the lake with Pete, neither hump fell in, both are still left.

Why do you still harp on the Spurs doing your dirty work Culb? Why didn't the Lakers "bag that bastard"?

You guys had your shot last year also. You guys played 82 games like the rest of us. Jesus H. Christ...you've got 16 NBA Championships....act like somebody.

Del was one of my favorite players, and one of the absolute best shooters I ever saw, but I had no idea Stef would be as good as he is. I saw his lack of size, playing at a small school and the college three point line and figured he'd be his dad at the absolute best. He's way way fucking better than I thought he'd be when he came out of Davidson.

BTW, does two all-star appearances and an MVP make him an all time great?

Elian did not even get Finals MVP and almost bricks his Warriors out of a series vs a Loveless, Irvingless Cavs

Don't see anyone calling Leonard an all time great.

Also, Leonard wasn't a regular season MVP.

Can anyone name another RS MVP that won the Finals in the same year but did not win the Finals MVP?

& I cited ya's, profusely. But, once I came here for the third time I found your fandom a stove up bunch of, well, frankly, jackasses. You're much like the Suns contingent= dish it-can't take it,,,tattletales, sore losers, dish it-can't take it, reprehensible hosts, + dish it-can't take it.

Duncan did it too, he had to check with his Bexar County child protective liaison, but, he got permission and dragged his friends progeny to the presser when he won his 5th ring for the 2nd time.

kareem abdul jabbar (79-80 season)

I hardly think Iggy is Magic reincarnated and Kareem left the series but dominated prior. He wasn't held down by a small white undrafted scrub.

Curry had a good year...hit a lot of good shots but all time great means just that. Not just one or two
years at a high level, it means every year at a high level...He is good but I am not putting
him next to MJ yet and anyone who has him there is rushing it .................

Thanks for that btw.

So outside of a guy who left the series halfway through (his numbers were astounding prior to his injury, what a beast KAJ was), it's never happened.

It was a weird season. You had Durant and Ibaka out for the season, you had Carmelo out (like that mattered) and you had enough oddities in the league so that anything could happen. The Warriors had a great season, no real injuries, coach who isn't a total fucking moron and they capitalized on a soft playoff schedule. They then met a depleted team in the Finals who had an unknown starting at point guard, with Irving and Love sidelined. Imagine the Heat making it to the Finals without Bosh or Wade, just Lebron, and Norris Cole.

Eliancito is good for the NBA today. But he would be in a wheelchair had he played before the 90s.

So would KD btw

Still don't compare him to Kobe. Eliancito is a dead eye shooter. Kobe never was.

Still he is a superstar in today's NBA and will be babysat for years to come. Hell have a great career.

But I don't think he will ever get FMVP. He's too soft physically and mentally.

His game is based on range. If he runs into significant injuries, he could go downhill fast. I mean, that's true with any player. But I mean a more subtle injury. Small things can greatly affect a shooter.
