It's probably much more reliable than the original thanks to him putting a better cartridge connector in (the one from the Game Genie). That part was ridiculously prone to failure in the original NES. Everyone thought their games were dirty and they had to blow into them when their NES would keep resetting over and over again, but the problem was really that garbage cartridge interface. I'm interested in how the video quality is with his homemade video amp though, because if you buy the top loading NES that doesn't have the reset problem it has significantly lower quality video output than the original gray box NES.

This whole process requires dexterity.
This would absolutely drive me insane.

People actually do this on the weekends... I'm glad these types are around in this country, we need them, but I'm gonna be outside.
