Usually the starters play the most time in week 3....so this is your best chance to see what your team will look like come week 1 of the Regular Season.

The Bucs looked worse than they did in Week 1 against the Vikings....It's gonna take some time.

Curious to see what Amari Cooper does tonight tbqh.

o line is shaky. if the o line can gel and keep winston upright and open holes for mighty mouse, the bucs can sneak the division

Dougie Fresh is getting creative in finding holes though. It's mostly bad blocking and tight spaces, but he's been consistent in the pre-season in taking the opportunities when they have come.

Any Saints fans know anything about CJ Spiller and his return? Are Saints fans excited about him on the squad?

Tru dat. O-Line looks extremely shaky. Holding penalties, missed blocking assignments, Linebackers coming through untouched. I know it's only the preseason....and some of that can be fixed. I'm not ready to panic just yet...

While I do appreciate your "can sneak the division" part of your post....I just don't see it Trill. I really don't. But, again...it is the NFC South (the worst division in the NFL) and anything is possible.

Dem 'Boys taking the NFC East this year or what?

yea he's looking good. he lost 20 pounds in the offseason and looks healthy. this is his contract year so he's going to ball out.

too early to panic, fam. if the issues are still there around week 5 then....yea. but with the right amount of time, jameis will thrive.

Not a bad start by Hoyer, but as soon as teams figure out they can load the box and come after him and he will fuck up it's game over.

Hopkins has fucking glue hands. He'll single-handedly help Hoyer look above average.

Mallett shows why he couldn't take the job from Hoyer. All that arm strength and can't string two good throws together. What a shame.

I'm tending to agree with you on that one....

I don't know about 11-5....but I've got them winning the NFC South. Carolina 2nd, Atlanta 3rd, and the Yucks 4th.

They were getting murked by Alfred Fucking Blue and a Texans Oline that didn't even have Brown playing. That run D is trash. Factor in Graham being gone(settled for FG against the Texans backup secondary) and 9 games is their ceiling.

That's my point...

I'm not saying they're the 85 Bears or 07 Patriots. But it's the NFC South. 8-8 might win the division...

Both first team defenses were completely dominating the game. Was pretty ugly to watch on both sides. Carr started heating up a bit with some throws to Cooper and ended his night with a red zone pick that went 89 yards the other way

Pretty unimpressive night for the offense and ended on a poor note too. On the flip side, Mack is disgustingly good. The best defensive player the Raiders have had since Howie Long

They won't have a sorry home record in KatrinaDome two years in a row. Probably 7-1 at home (including a win over the Cowboys, one of the Cowboys' 3 or 4 losses) and 3-5 or 4-4 on the road:

If ya saw the Steelers vs Bills game you saw Olympic long jumper Marquize Goodwin laid out on the field. While he lay there the announcer talked track guys "trying" to play football and how delicate they are. The guy is a moron, first off there are no "track guys" trying to play football anymore. Today all these guys are footballers who can run track. They were always footballers.

Back in the day the NFL did try out some sprinters without football experience. It didn't work so they gave that up.

I think it sets us back, but our WR's overall are stronger than last year IMO..

I think we are the most well-rounded team, and I think the best D wins it this year. I have Carolina winning it with 9-10 wins. New Orleans and ATL with 8-9. Bucs struggle year 1 with 5 wins.

I think he was just going to grab SSSr, but Jay popped off. I doubt there's any bad blood between them, since it was preseason, and John knew Smith was out of line.

That Redskins player who piledrived Aiken should be suspended, though. That was very dangerous and unnecessary.
