pls enlighten this for me...

1. why would the Bulls choose to retire Scottie Pippen's jersey ahead of Michael Jordan?

The Bulls will retire Scottie Pippen's No. 33 jersey at halftime of a Dec. 9 game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

2. the Lakers are interested on Eddie Curry. is there any chance Curry's going to play for L.A. next season? If Curry stays healthy, are they playoff-bound?

thoughts? :rolleyes

Retiring a banner for the General Manager seems kind of dippy.

2. Where would the Lakers get money for Curry?thanks, kori. i probably missed this one.

regarding Curry, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe there's another Laker on the block? or they're into a short-term deal? Curry might be interested afterall the Bulls seems so reluctant to make a deal after they closed one on Chandler.

They should have put up a picture of a donut on the Jerry Krause banner.

Funny story.

Players during the Jordan era had a nickname for Krause - they called him "crumbs". Word has it that Jordan gave him that name because there were times when he used to come to the office with with donut crumbs sprinkled about his face and suit.
