In Case You Hadn’t Noticed Yet, The Koch Brothers Are Losing The Republican Primary
In early August, the Koch brothers invited five candidates —
Jeb Bush,
Scott Walker,
Ted Cruz,
Marco Rubio and
Carly Fiorina —
to a special confab in a luxury California hotel (http://www.politicususa.com/2015/07/28/bush-cruz-rubio-walker-attend-koch-brothers-summit-grovel-support.html). There the candidates were given the opportunity to make their case in front of the Kochs and other billionaires, and to grovel for their financial support.
Those five candidates are polling just 28 percent total (http://www.monmouth.edu/assets/0/32212254770/32212254991/32212254992/32212254994/32212254995/30064771087/6f102b2c-508f-4bc3-8cd9-6f650f4bcc3a.pdf), if you add them all together to create one Koch puppet “super candidate”. Trump alone beats Bush, Walker, Cruz, Rubio and Fiorina combined!
Worst of all for the Kochs, the winner of the post-confab wealthy donor straw poll, Scott Walker (http://www.politico.com/story/2015/08/scott-walker-prevails-in-koch-donor-straw-poll-121073), is faring the poorest of the five Koch friendly candidates, mustering an anemic 3 percent national support in the latest Monmouth poll.

But the Kock Bros will pour $100Ms into local and state races where their $$$ buys a lot more and more reliably.
