I used to love Tony. It's just the years he lays an egg that piss me off... in 2005 he was invisible but we still won the championship...but in 2007 Mike Brown was stupid enough to have Lebron guard non-threat Bruce Bowen instead of Parker, so TP went hog wild. He was the best Spur through the Dark Years, but nobody really cares about those years. He just hasn't been himself since the 2013 almost-run imho

I used to love Tony....

But I think his speed and ability to consistently create scoring chances for himself overshadowed his unwillingness to create for teammates. And I've been bothered the last season or two that he seemed to chase stats more than wins. It's like he wasn't paying attention at all to TD's sacrifices.

I still respect his potential going forward; but he needs to stop with all his ISO off a screen fading left and brick early in the shot clock BS on a team like this that is full of weapons. Ha-ha, I used to love a player who score good but I have no loyalty to the inevitable decline of players. Fuck drob and his cripple back. I'll never forgive him for the heartbreaking losses. No one gives a shit about pre Duncan. I only root for top 15 players all time, fuck these mere generational stars for preventing all time greats like George hill, cojo, nando, and vspan from leading us to less embarrassing losses. Fuck parker for causing Duncan to get old.

Fuck his (alleged) cheating with a consenting adult. Fuck his dumb ass rap career. Fuck him for random meaningless statements that could, possibly, if several other things happen, really scew the spurs over.

I'm entitled to always have players who are humble and dumb like me. No one else can disagree with me. These are facts.

Oh no, parker made a mistake in retrospect two years ago against a team with 4 hall of fame players in what was already a incredibly close game in a highly chaotic second chance scenario for the eventual champion!

Oh no, parker couldn't beat defenses that are designed to contain him (allowing second rate guys like kawhi to score easily).

Oh no, parker is only the seventh best player in spurs history. We only care about 1-6, 7 is shit. Speedy is 6 BTW.

Obviously, Kawhi is on this list as a role player like CoJo or Nando, right?.

That's the problem with Parker fans, they're always afraid a player can overshadow Tony and they hate that player. DRob, Manu, Kawhi...again, the list is extensive.

Jimmy Butler shot 40% against LeBron (he barely played any defense last season) & padded his stats in blowouts. LeBron also raw dogged him when it mattered in the 2nd rd series (which is the opposite of what occurs when LeBron faces Kawhi).

He needs to become more a drive and pass guy like Manu has done as he's gotten older; I don't know if he can do that; worse yet, I don't think he's willing to do it.

i am not sure you can blame all that on him. Pop actually calls a lot of plays through games and if things are not rolling how he wants he makes adjustments, maybe not in a particular game but through the season. The truth is that Tony just aged and may be injury prone from here on, we don't know. Kawhi was not ready this year to be the guy although pop pushed him hard and fee him the ball. the offense through Kawhi was stagnant and his own efficiency took a dive. in general I think Pop kept hoping Tony would come back to form and said so explicitly: "if Tony is not th Tony from last year we are not wining the championship.". Tony created for others with his own aggressiveness making defenses move. It's what made all those shots in 2013 possible for Danny. Anyways, atony has declined and LMA will be carrying the scoring burden. Pop will for sure make some adjustments. One would hope anyways.
