Allen Iverson is my favorite non-spur player. I have that video downloaded from back in the KazaA days. I think that was allen's rookie season, and to MJ's credit, he was already on the decline.

LOL. I think he was letting his emotions get the best of him during that press conference....but if you think about it, what he said makes sense.

I mean he's allen freakin Iverson...former mvp, single handedly took a moderately good defensive eastern conference team to the finals. He was probably just letting his emotions run away, as any human being does in tight spots. Imagine carrying a team, season after season, then doubting yourself, missing practice for stupid reasons, then getting called out by your coach. You'd expect a coach to do that, but the wrong word at the wrong time can cause a massive eruption of shit you don't really mean.

Regardless, it was a learning experience for him, and he's a better player now because of it. He had one of the best seasons ever last year.

I'm always keeping my fingers crossed that we can get an Iverson-on-the-decline to be our backup pointguard one day in the future. Iverson loves Duncan.

AI is a MAN on the court. He is learning to make others better. He is a warrior and I am a fan. Liked him since his hoya days.

However, He is still a BOY off the court. When a Man has a job to do, and it includes what the might think are trivial things such as 'practice'. He needs to be there anyway. AI is the Leader of that team...or he's supposed to be...which means HE needs to set the example. Just last year he bitched when he was kept out of the starting lineup.
