True answer is that for about 12 years we feared the Lakers for obvious reasons. Those laker trolls are a manifestation of our fears. They may be true Lakers fans but they also be spurs fans working through their anxieties by role playing add their tormentor.

While 2013 and 2014 pretty much nailed the laker, spurs rivalry shut, there are still some brain dead remainders though.

Combine that with the registration ban and you have a high concentration of Lakers fans with PTSD

Personally, I find humor on this site from all sides. My Laker Brethren (trolls or not) stay real. The Spur fans like DMC and whatnot keep the banter going. It's the offseason so of course its going to be the doldrums of forum talk, but then the NFL Forum turns up. (Fuck New England)
