LOL, but as I told Kool this dude aint a man of substance ... he cant be relied on. But since we still suck it doesntmatter but if we want to take strides towards respectability you cant sign a dude like him or JR smith to a multi-year deal ...he needs to be kept on a short leash. Mitch failed us, here.

This is just sad....I was wrong about him..he's a head case ...we got him and about to resign Artest...we got a rookie who thinks he's better than he is....Kobe is a question mark....Hibbert is decent garbage...and we got Byron and Chaz...and Fredo with a cherry on top...fuck it's depressing bro...I have no desire to stick around for this....I'm out man...if they start winning or make a blockbuster trade then holla but until then deuce...I'm tired of this shit. It's depressing....

No need to panic. We were never gonna be as good as you hoped or as bad as the haters want us to be. D'Russ is no savior neither is healthy Kobe. I think we will be improved but in the West it won't matter. It's a 2 team race anyways Spurs, GSW, followed by Rox, Clips and OKC needing to prove they win when it matters and or stay healthy. Grizz, Mavs etc have no shot along with Lakers.

I know this sucks, but we need to re-calibrate expectations. The focus is on improving on the court and quieting the noise off it, including the bickering of the junior Buss clan. Fans need to brace for the rebuild and stop hoping for miracle blockbuster moves ...

For the record, I appreciate your positivity (before this) I think you and I "bring balance to the force (forum)", so to speak ...

Glad to know that you can finally admit that I am not a hater, because the Lakers are worse, way worse than I ever thought they were going to be. I had better looking pile of puke than the Lakers right now. No present, no future. All the Lakers have is the past, and a past that was pretty much buried in the grave with the good Dr.

The Spurs are getting pretty overrated right now, they look good on paper, but it really depends how well Duncan can hold onto the defense with Splitter gone. Aldridge really isn't a defender at all, in any ways shape or form. He may have the potential to be one, because he is long, got good reaction time, and is a decent mobility, but I am not sure if he has the brains wired that way.

I have the Spurs along with the Clips. I think Rox will be a pretender for as long as they have Harden as the centerpiece, and OKC is finished.

I really like the Grizzlies, still. All they need is an offensive monster, but they aren't getting one ....

Caprisun was just crazy, and I am surprised you even had any appreciation for that type of crap. You are not talking about a 94 Spurs fan thinking the Spurs can win a championship, you are talking about an 02 Clippers fan thinking they can make the Finals. The Lakers really had the potential to be a 9th to 12th seed team, and you guys aren't even going to realistically get that.

Easy there. I didnt name you or even think of you as I typed. I dont think we will be last in the West or near it but i think Druss and kobe expecting playoffs are believing in unicorns and Santa Claus ...

Sometimes it's cool to talk to homers ... I am not one myself. But I appreciate that dream weavers even if I dont buy it. Dont be so close minded Amb, appreciate Spur fan that thinks you are only a couple bad calls/plays away from 3 or more titles (plus the 5 you have) you dont have to agree to enjoy a different POV.

He definitely stirs up shit ... I dont think you can deny him that.
hate him or love him Kool is Kobesque ... he forces a reaction and things are less intersting in his absence.

I don't even know how you can enjoy talking to obvious trolls, a troll who is not really that original or good at it at that.

The Spurs could've won in 06 and 13, that was pretty much it for me. That said, they didn't so that is the end of it.

The Spurs over accomplished in the Duncan era. Winning 5 titles with the type of market they were in, and the types of players they had was mighty impressive. They were a surprise to win in 99, 03 and 14, 07 had a few good breaks (avoiding Mavs, Suns were morons), and 05 was really a bounce or two from losing to Detroit, and they really could have easily won 1 or 2 titles instead of 5 during that time.

Great post I agree. Most great teams get some luck and leave some crumbs on the table. As much shit as thread gives you guys about "6" it wont be the only trophy left in the case Seahawks did the same last SB ...

The Pistons over-accomplished. The Mavs over-accomplished. The Spurs were a top tier team with top tier talent and expected to compete for a title. If anything they underachieved by never defending their title so many fucking times.

You got the year wrong, the Pistons over-accomplished in 2004. They had no business winning that championship against 4, read it again, FOUR, future HoFers, with one top 10 of all time, and two top 20 all time, and one top 50 all time player, with the best coach in the business, but then, the Lakers choked like an infant on lego blocks, and totally soiled themselves.

The Spurs won what they were supposed to have won. The Mavs and Suns were the favourites in 07, and the Heat were the favourites in 13. Jazz was the hot pick in 99, Lakers in 03, Pistons and Spurs were 50/50 in 05, Mavs in 07 (then Suns, then Spurs), Heat and Spurs split in 14.
