Animation def takes longer but I'd assume they have a brainstormed skeleton to every episode like any other show, but then freewheel certain lines as needed.

I mean you can actually hear roiland laughing in the 2 brothers skit.

I don't mind it. I think Rick and Morty is one of the most well written shows bar none. It's great.

What makes people hate a show like this is that you have social media, blogs, websites, and every reddit circle jerking millennial constantly over-analyzing every little bit and joke, repeating every joke ad nauseum on a daily basis. Over a roughly 2 year wait between seasons, seeing that shit on your computer/phone every day gets old. Then there's the backlash.

I had to delete everything i was following that kept referencing the damn show bc it was getting too much. Love the show still but I don't need to know why it's so awesome 5 times an hour.
