Sparing injury Devin should get plenty of PT in Utah. Call his numbers. I have:

30 MPG
15 PPG
.440 FG%
2 Assists
3.5 rebounds
10,000 Marcus Bryant posts bitching about Spurs not keeping him (might be a little low on this one)

Well, I think you'll probably be right about the minutes, but a little too generous on the points, and too stingy on the boards. If the rest of that team is healthy he's kind low on the lists of scoring threats, but if he's getting those kinds of minutes I think he'll rebound pretty well. He's got killer ups and a lot of hustle.

Just wait. It'll be interesting to see how many of you change your viewpoint come next summer.

Its hard to predict because anything can happen. He may get injured. Someone else on the team could get injured causing him to play more or be more of a GO TO guy, but for the fun of it I would say: 30+ minutes a game, 12ppg, 4rpg, 3apg.

That's close.

I'd go with:

3 Assists
4.7 rebounds

I think I kind of agree with Marcus on this as well, in that I believe we should have kept him for two reasons, a) to field the strongest possible team and b) so that we actually have a swingman that can come off the bench next season, because we sure as hell won't be signing anyone of not as were well over the cap. MLE will probably bring in Scola so that not there and that leaves us with IR fodder backing up the wings as well as an aging Barry. Better hope the Spurs swing a trade.

Holy crap! If he does average that, you deserve another Spur. Personally, I think your ppg are too high, but everything else looks aiight.

I'll go with
27 mpg
13.2 ppg
4.7 rpg
1.3 apg
1.0 spg

33% 3pt%
80% ft%

I like devin and think his numbers will improve, but he still won't start this year and is fighting Giricek and Harpring for mins at the 2. After this year he has a better shot of putting up bigger numbers.

75-80 games - will stay healthy
25-30 mpg - will primarily get Bell's mins, but will need to prove he deserves them more than Giricek
~12 ppg - will go up but will not go off
~3 apg - not a great passer but uta's system is assist friendly
~4 rpg - although Uta is not a great rbing team, kirilenkos health will limit loose ball chances
<1 spg - not a great thief and mins aren't jumping enough to put him over 1 a game
~43% fg - the greater demand to score will not improve his percentage much.
~32% fg - will be tougher now that he has left duncan's side
~75% ft - more chances at the line will lower the number

Devin will have as many minutes (and shots) as he can earn. He's playing for the Jazz to pick up that 2nd year; and then for FA $$$ after that. Not alot of distractions in SLC.

I figure, with only GG to beat out to start:

30 mpg
15 pts
4.5 boards
2.1 assists
1 steal
