Realistically, what stats do you expect from each of the spurs top-9 players for the upcoming season? First time doing these, be nice.

Tim Duncan
With the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge and the continuous emergence of Kawhi everyone expect a drop in minutes and production from Timmy, but I think the Big Fundamental will surprise once again and will produce a solid 12 points and 8 rebounds a game. LaMarcus isn't a big defensive specialist, so the rebounds will be there for Timmy since he will be playing a lot more Center this season. Also, the spacing in offense produced by Aldridge will provide a lot of easy opportunities for Duncan to score.

LaMarcus Aldridge
The biggest free agent addition in spurs history will have a good first season. I expect him to be a borderline 20-10 player this year. He will get a little lost at the beginning in the spurs system, but being a smart player like he is, I expect a fully integrated Aldridge by January. The pick and pop with Tony and Manu will be crucial, and he will open a lot of inside opportunities for the guards and Kawhi.

Kawhi Leonard
It seems that the doubts of Kawhi being the first option in a team won't be answered this season. He had a very good season last year, but his series against LAC was underwhelming. He had an amazing stretch of 20 or so games in March, but he won't get that many touches this year with LaMarcus in the team. An 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists season is in the cards for him, enough for the coaches to select him for his first All Star Game.

Danny Green
With a big contract secured, Green will have a nice but not spectacular season, maybe he will regress a bit in scoring because he won't have that many touches with Aldridge here and a (hoping here) healthy Tony Parker. 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists and Pop wrath every three games is a reasonable expectation for him.

Tony Parker
Ah, the big elephant in the room. Sure, he had a horrendous 2014-2015 season like every advanced metric indicated, but if the Spurs want to ring, he's going to be a very important part of it, like it or hate it. I don't like him playing with his NT this summer, but the rest didn't make any good for him last year, so be it. With Manu in his last legs, Tony will be the primary and somedays unique ballhandler this year. He MUST be healthy for the spurs to have any chance in the hard West. He can't settle for long jumpers this season, Aldridge, Diaw and West will produce a lot of spacing for him to attack the rim, and his pick and roll with Duncan will produce results as usual. He won't have a spectacular scoring season, but will be a lot more efficient than last year. 14-15 points and 6 assists is reasonable for 2016 Parker.

Manu Ginobili
Unless Duncan, Manu had doubts of coming back this year, but I think I can speak for all of spurs fans to say we are glad to have him again for one more season at least. Him giving a break to Parker in orchestrating the offense will be nice, even with his Turnobili phases, the goods of having him back far outweighs the bad. Ginobili sure can produce 9 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists this year.

Patty Mills
Being healthy since the beginning of the season will make miracles for Patty's confidence. I think he will have a similar season to 2014. 11 points 2 rebounds and 2 assists with 40+% of 3 pointers is doable for the former amazing towel waver.

Boris Diaw
BoBo will be playing a lot more center this season, so his extra pounds will do good for him down there. His passing ability and high BBall IQ will do wonders as usual. The only question is his motivation and exhaustion in the begininng of the season after playing with France in the summer. 7 points and a speak in rebounds for him is expectable without Splitter and playing with West for long stretches.

David West
West averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds last year. Nobody is expecting him to replicate that in a spurs uniform, but if he's capable of maybe average 8 points, 5 rebounds and play the tough defense that he's known for it will be a solid first season with the Los Spurs.

I don't think Anderson, Simmons, McCallum, Marjanovic or Fredette are going to have an impact this season. Maybe Jimmer or Anderson are going to explode in a game or two and their churches will have an speak in attendants, but with this being the Last Hurrah for the Old Guard I don't think Pop will experiment that much with the younglings.

Fun take! Hard to disagree with much of what you said above, except for the last paragraph which I quote here. I am hoping at least one and hopefully even two of these guys break out from the dungeon this season. Not only will the 3 be rested, but unfortunately there are always injuries to somebody. There are the usual suspects in the injury bin, and the unlikely kind of bumps, strains and sprains to somebody. Pop also doesn't like to overplay guys since he keeps the long run in sight. He doesn't want the team to reach March/April gassed or injured.

My opinion is that the team is unlikely to achieve its full potential without some of these guys coming in and giving quality minutes through the season. You may indeed loose more games in the end if you have no depth, than if you had given some of these guys a chance to play. Also, a team with so many old rotation players as the Spurs, does need depth and fresh legs. Most of these guys are unproven at NBA but with potential and Jimmer and Mccallum are young still and may improve, but you will only discover if they can play and what they can give you through playing time. We may see the same mad scientist Pop of always, specially with an overhauled roster. Pop will want to find out who works better next to whom and exactly where guys are on their development. Some of the perimeter players may inherit Manu's playmaking role. Manu will retire very soon and almost didn't make it in for another year so I would expect Pop to try different guys and even different lineups at some games.

Tim Duncan
LaMarcus isn't a big defensive specialist, so the rebounds will be there for Timmy since he will be playing a lot more Center this season.

Aldridge is a better defensive rebounder than Splitter and Duncan has almost exclusively defended centers since part way through the '06 WCSF's.
