He's the textbook definition of an average game manager, and he shits the bed in the playoffs. Basically the 2015 version of Neil O'Donnell.

If the Giants win Sunday it's pretty unlikely that Romo's on the first tier of that list, whether he deserves to be or not.

how the fuck is Rapistburger no.2? maybe i'm missing something. Rodgers is easily no.1. If Brady (or whomever they shuffle into QB) has Ernie Adams telling them what the D is doing every down then I guess no. 2 or 3 is fair.
Romo has been the most underrated bean3r in quite sometime. I'd take him over most of the QBs.
Alex Smith gets zero respect :lol

Guys, it's not that hard to see why they'd rank Ben so high. He was the leading passer in the NFL last year, breaking several franchise records along the way, including back to back 500 yard games.
Furthermore, go fuck yourselves.

-He's 1-4 in the playoffs
-He's played alongside top tier receivers his entire career and still can't win
-Throws picks at a fairly high percentage (~25 TDs to ~20 INTs last year alone iirc)
-System babby QB
-Been pretty unclutch the last few years (hasn't been Matty Ice since 2012/13)

I agree he's been pretty unclutch for a while, but I like to give the QBs a clean slate every season. Also consider the outstanding competition he's been up against throughout the years. Peyton and Eli both appear to be regressing and I'm still not completely sold on Kaep or Wilson who appear, strangely, to be regressing as well. Everything changes quickly week to week in the NFL so my list could be obsolete by week 3 tbh.

None of those four are elite (anymore in Manning's case), and neither is Ryan. Like Harlem said, there's one truly elite QB in the league right now (but I can see an argument for Brady), several borderline elite, the very good, the average, and the shitty.

Five years top 5 QBs should look like:
Rodgers
Luck
Newton
Ryan
Flacco
Pretty slim pickings after that... don't see any strong talent entering the league. Those 5 will be playoff mainstays for a long time.

Brees's body of work currently surpasses Rodgers when you compare career statistics. They have both played in 2 NFC Championship games and both have 1 Superbowl MVP, so that's a wash. Rodgers will eventually pass Brees, but right now he is ahead.

Well lets see dummy.
In the history of pro football Carson Palmer is in the top 25 in both TD passes and yards. The only current QB's with better stats are those ranked above him.
Do your homework amigo, ok?
Save.....he never won a SB, well neither has Philip Rivers who is a hell of a lot better than Trent Dilfer, Jim McMahan.
Palmer has 259 td passes.
HOFers
Joe Montana 273.....if Palmer plays one more season he passes him.
Sonny Jurgenson 255
Dan Fouts 254
Y.A.Tittle 242
Len Dawson 239
George Blanda 236
Steve Young 232
Terry Bradshaw 212
I know what you're thinking, what about the black QB's?
1.Warren Moon....291
2.Donovan McNabb...234
3.Randall Cunningham....207
Only black QB 's in the top 50.
