If people with diplomatic immunity (DI) are allowed to commit any crime they want and get away with it are they not bound by the same laws of justice in America?

For example lets say a guy has DI and decides to rape and strangle a woman....since he's legally allowed to do it the American laws dont apply to him...therefore if her family finds him and kills him before he flees to his home country arent they legally allowed to do so since our laws dont apply to that person....hopefully one of you knows the answer to this question...

If the crime is bad enough immunity is removed. This just happened to that Saudi prince in LA.

BUT he was allowed to be released on a miserable $300,000 bail. Chump change for him.

Possibly he's already in Saudi and wont come back. But maybe his passport was taken. Hopefully
