Obviously this is just the optimism in me, but I'm hopeful that a smaller offensive load + playing with/under guys like Tim/Popovich will get him to focus more defensively than he has throughout his career. Besides, it's not like he was too lazy in Portland. Even if he doesn't improve at all, he'll still be a consistently solid defender.
