Skip to 51:00 for Spurs coverage.
They talked about the Danny Ferry debacle for the rest of the podcast after that. Some interesting tidbits and I loved all the conspiracy terms they brought up :lol

Windhorst is a moron. Spurs play the way they do because they had to. They didn't have a guy that could score at will like LA. The offense will be so much easier with LA in place of Splitter. It shows how little these basketball writers actually know about basketball.

Windhorst kept saying Pop has been giving interviews saying he's "concerned" about how were going to play... I have not heard ONCE from Pop saying that stuff. at most Pop said something along the lines of how they'll need to adjust to what LMA does and vice versa. so wtf is he talking about? Incredible reach right there:lol

Pretty sure Pop said something along those lines at the very start of training camp. It's a perfectly valid concern and don't see a problem with what Windhorst and Lowe have said.
Spurs schedule is very easy the first couple of months and this could be a blessing or a huge problem. If they can use the easier games to build chemistry while winning, that'd be huge for them. If they start badly they could find themselves in the same situation as last season, with a very tough playoff road ahead of them.

pop talked about cameraderie which has an effect on how the team plays basketball, but I would not say he is truly concerned with it ...

Talking about Tristan Thompson and Cleveland, after the Clippers, the Cavs may be the 2nd most hated team in the NBA. My point, LeBron is getting annoying again, JR Smith is getting even more cocky now, brittle Shump is getting hyped saying he will come back stronger after suffering structural damage in his wrist, Irving? Massively overrated. I feel a little bad for Kevin Love, but f*ck him too. And of course, the toolbag of Tristan Thompson with his contract drama. Like I said, only the Clippers can UP that combined douchebaggery. I mean, the Clippers can put out this frigging line-up:
CP3 + Lance + Paul Pierce + Blake + DeAndre
PLUS
Tom Rivers Jr. and Josh Smith coming off the bench.
PLUS
That whiny overrated coach, Tom Rivers Sr.
That's too much. I can't. But the Cavs are not too far.

The discussion about possible Budenholzer power grab and not supporting Ferry (who begged the owner to hire Bud as head coach) is really interesting...
