Get benched? Will it happen this season? Does Pop have it in him to do it? What do you want to see from Tony this season?

Ray and Patty actually have to be able to run an offense. Ginobili in the starting lineup is not an option./ No / 8 points, 10 assists.

Great question... With this possibly being Tim's last season, pop can't be a pussy when it comes to Parkers over dribbling and mid range clanks with 2 seconds left on the clock...

I'm not going to demonize this thread, but for fairness put the whole question in the title. We know you. We know your opinion. Did you even want our opinions on this or are you just trying to be beat the same horse to death? It's a dead horse buddy.

The better question is when.....the answer is whenever Parker gets injured and if, as hoop czar say, the backups are ready. Ray it's obviously not ready, but it's dumb to expect him to. He's got about enough talent to pass the eye test, he just needs to learn what shots the offense gives him and when it's ok to freelance.it'll be interested to see if mcallum gets the Serbian treatment or I'd that version of pop is gone.

Certain autistic roleplayers would have to not become scrubs when he's off the floor

Someone better needs to come along. Based on last year's performance, it shouldn't take much. I hope for the Spurs sake, last year was just an off year.

He's the closest thing to a real PG on the roster, he won't be benched, nor should he, tbh..only hope is that he accepts his role as a Prigioni type..

Hopefully he stops mentioning Steve Nash as an influence, that would be a disaster..

It's funny because we were saying this 1 year ago and everyone kept saying we were trolling. :lmao

^^ Most people here are blind homers that like to complain that there isn't enough basketball talk, tbh..

I doubt it happens.

Pop is happy with his paycheck and 5. Shame Tim still wants to win bad. He gave it his all last season while Pop was broadcasting his vacation plans.

I truly hope he does not over dribble and watches his carb intake. I hope that's sensitive enough.

Lose weight. His job is to run and hrs fat. If that was my only duty I'd be 158 pounds year round. I don't get how a pro is fat....not to mention his over dribbling and arrogance
Put the tortas and tamales down and try out for the Spurs then.

So Tony was not overweight against the clippers? I'm sorry then. I guess he was very fit

If he could go back and not be the winningest player in the history of the NBA through 1,000 games, go back and not win 4 championships, go back and not win FMVP, and go back and not be the all-time playoff leading scoring PG, then maybe Pop would bench him at 33 years old. My guess is that Pop slightly agrees with the ESPN writers that Parker is more than 100 players better than Mills.

What will it take for Parker haters to accept that he is our starting PG, he is in good shape to start the season and he will not go away nor get benched because this team has no alternatives ...

gettin shit on by chalmers in b2b finals series.....100x better then mills?
Hahahahahahahhaahha!

2013 NBA Finals:

Parker: 15.7 / 6.4 / 1.9 on 0.412 shooting (including should-have-been Finals-clinching floater over Chalmers)
Chalmers: 10.6 / 2.1 / 2.7 on 0.388 shooting

2014 NBA Finals:

Parker: 18.0 / 4.6 / 0.4 on 0.479 shooting
Chalmers: 4.4 / 2.8 / 1.4 on 0.333 shooting

Hahahaha wow, are you kidding? Lol.

The current version of tp is nowhere near the level of mills. It's sad and unfortunate that Tony played call those minutes against the clippers
