I dunno man...they have barely won those 4 games. Right now I just dont buy into the hype as much as I want to. I can see them fizzing out and being a wild card team. I hope I'm wrong and this thread gets bumped during Superbowl week.

This Broncos team is built better for winning the SB than any of the other Manning-era Broncos teams, including the version that got blown out in the SB..best defense in the league that only needs average production from the offense, rather than vice versa..

The AFC is really weak outside of NE, too..last year was also weak, but that Broncos team was still reliant on Manning, to the extent that they lost to a Colts team that was one of the worst teams in AFC Championship game history..

I hope ur right HH but there was a magic about that team that lost in the superbowl. A confidence and swagger but they lost a lot of peices and that Seahawks team was too damn good and healthy. I just dont see this team doing anything anymore but i really hope Im wrong. Been a Broncos fan since I was a kid and since Elway retired this shit has been depressing. It's depressing because theyve had a few really good seasons and let downs ie Plummer season against the Steelers at home, Superbowl season, last season.

The irony is this guy was shit a lot of the times but hes mentally 100x stronger than Peyton

Right now they look like a team built to win in the playoffs. They are grinding out wins playing good D. This is the type of team that can beat the Patriots. Manning is getting help in play calling and from the D keeping the ball on offense and using clock.

They are giving up 17 points a game and scoring 24. They were giving up 21 after 4 weeks in 2014 and scoring 26.

So in 2014 they were plus 5, in 2015, plus 7.

They are for real, that real being winning the division, then losing the first playoff road game. Manning is too limited now to beat the elite teams on the road in a playoff scenario.

You got two of the greats at play calling ( Wade and Peyton) but not sure about Peyton's arm. Pats are the GOATs at cheating so once again it's going to take somewhat of a miracle to stop them.

yeah, this is DEFINITELY not the Broncos defense that gave up 50 points each to Dallas and Seattle a couple years ago... though giving up as many as they did to the Browns (16 excluding the Manning pick-six) is pretty bad...

Classic case of a Manning nuthugger right here^

Since week 1, the Browns have scored 20 or more in every game they've played, so I'm not sure how holding them to 16 points at home would be classified as "pretty bad", particularly when Denver scored on a pick 6 itself. They also had two possessions start in their own territory due Manning interception and held Cleveland to zero points on both of them.

Anyone trying to argue Denver's defense didn't play well today and bail Manning out is a pretty dedicated Manning fanboy.

he did near the end when the game was out of reach I started playing the Xbox One after the Pack gave up the running TD to CJ Andersen to give the team I was playing in FF the win. There went my 4 game winning streak. But its like Manning finally has a killer D and he is the weakest link of that team. Could give the Pats a run. Of course they're going to acknowledge that he's struggling, it's undeniable, he's having one of the worst seasons in NFL history:lol..I haven't heard a single relevant media member refer to him as a cancer like they do with others with the same traits, though, not a single one..

I put a lot of these on the super weak play of not only Vernon Davis but #88 and other Bronco WRs.
Even the int, if you play it back HH, watch how the receiver is 4-5 yards beyond the 1st down mark. Ossweiler in obvious trouble. Launches the pass. Underthrown? Try looking at the two Bronco Dbs who come forward while Bronco stands with his hands up his own ass waiting for the ball to arrive.

Football 101 go forward for the ball in that situation. May not have been a catch but would certainly have broken up the INT.

How in hell a QB beat another QB ? They don't play against each other... There is no head to head... it's a QB playing with an offense team against a defensive line up... It matters when there was always a hot debate on who the better QB was and you get them on the same field in a pressure filled atmosphere. While they never directly compete on the field, if one guy chokes with interceptions while the other leads a clutch game winning drive, there are narratives that develop.

well, the W/L for a goalie makes sense if he's not playing every single game. if a team is 30-10 but the goalie has only played in 31 games, it makes sense to have his W/L reflect only the games he's played in. i dont think its supposed to mean he is solely responsible for those wins and losses in his record

Brady/Manning is the only real qb-qb rivalry of this era tbh.

There is a rivalry because they are playing same era, both are great, I get it... but it does not make any sense at all to take specifically their records when both teams are playing to add argument in a way or another... their "head to head" games don't matter more than any other games they play. I mean I also get media talking about 3/2 because media sells stuff that don't exist, this is their job but anyone following a bit football understand the head to head concept for two QBs is useless. Talk about Broncos are now 3/2 against Pats in POs last 10 years ok why not but yeah Manning is not 3/2 against Brady

Oh and not trying to be a smart ass here, there is a rivalry but Brady career and records are quite >> at Manning or I smoke something... Therefore on top of not being consistent their htoh record means quite shit... it's not like it's a toss up between them...

Oh and not trying to be a smart ass here, there is a rivalry but Brady career and records are quite >> at Manning or I smoke something... Therefore on top of not being consistent their htoh record means quite shit... it's not like it's a toss up between them...

You smoke something 'cause Manning has Brady beat on every stat and on individual accolades (and by a very considerable margin I must say). The only thing Brady has over Manning are rings; but those are, like the head to head matchups you are dissmissing here, team accomplishments.

well, the W/L for a goalie makes sense if he's not playing every single game. if a team is 30-10 but the goalie has only played in 31 games, it makes sense to have his W/L reflect only the games he's played in. i dont think its supposed to mean he is solely responsible for those wins and losses in his record
I agree with you when it comes to the statistical aspect, but in the hockey "world", the goalie is basically seen as the person responsible for Ws or Ls

Just ask Montreal goalies :lol

Patrick Roy had 3 straight bad games during the 92-93 season and the fans wanted to ship him out, preferring his shitty backup

Carey Price - as a rookie - was the scapegoat for the Habs shitting the bed in the 2nd round of the playoffs, even though he had a great regular season - as a rookie

:lol hockey culture

obviously rings are team accomplishments but it seems to me one of key contributor of those rings is the QB in particular for a team like pats that are not winning relying on their defense, so yeah I'd say number of rings is quite relevant when comparing two QBs

then you are making a confusion about my argument... I don't dismiss the htoh because win or loss is team accomplishment I dismiss htoh results of two players who never see the field together... Manning performance has 0 influence on Brady performace during a bronco / pats game like manning has 0 influence when brady plays against the seahawks... so you can say Broncos Defense own Brady but Manning does not own Brady htoh

but keep on crawling

I don't know if you are one of them. Although you do seem to be bitching way too much about this, tbh.

As I said I dislike Manning but Idgaf tbh... I've seen him play like 15 times probably as much as Brady

I'm bitching about you being dishonest and using a dumb argument to feed I guess your agenda of Manning > Brady. Their htoh brings nothing in that discussion

Fivehead has played in nothing but garbage divisions his whole career and has choked playoff games to the likes of Herm Edwards/Chad Pennington (41-0), Norv Turner, Mark Sanchez, and Struggle Wilson :lol

Fivehead's average playoff performance is like if LeBron lost to the 38-44 Bucks or the 40-42 Celtics in the first round. If LeBron did that once, his legacy would be over and the hate would be unrelenting for the rest of his career. Fivehead pulls the NFL equivalent almost every year and still gets called the GOAT by the media and fans.

Fivehead can barely even throw a football with nothing but pure, unadulterated HGH coursing through his veins :lmao

That coming from a guy who would start Derek Anderson over Cam Newton, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh hell yes, HGH helps out a guy who has been a stud QB since HS, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know in what else QBs are key contributors? In winning games. So, even though they never face each other during games, the head to head matchup between QBs does bare an importance.

Yeah because LeGM always faced the gauntlet of the East :rollin
not to mention the two sports aren't comparable.

I just realized that PM has had a different HC for each of his SB visits. :wow

PM comes back after four neck surgeries while Lebron hasn't been the same since a broken AC exposed him. :lmao

There is no htoh, they don't play against each other... Bronco defense shut down Brady not Manning... your statement is dumb... worst part is you know it but continue to ride a stupidity

Career wise no, because I would rather win 4 championships instead of 1. But to me it's pretty clear Manning is a better QB than Brady, Tom just had the luck of playing for the better franchise.

I'd have Manning before Brady in my GOAT list, but you already knew that. :lol

I highly doubt Brady would ever go to 4 SBs with a different Head Coach each time. No one else has.

In terms of career you might give the nod to Brady, that's fine, playing for arguably the greatest or most cunning Head Coach definitely helps imo.

:lol I know you are a strong Pats and Brady hater... This is something that an outsider non american like me has difficulty to understand but that would be like me trying to explain my hate towards l'Olympique de Marseille

I don't know what Brady career would have been with a different coach but you cannot hold that against him. That would be like putting an * on Duncan titles because he is playing for the same organization forever and for one of the greatest coach ever.

I believe Brady is a big part also of Beli and Pats success so it goes both way imo

This lame cherry-picked stat impresses dumbasses and casual fans but means nothing. The head coach is a useless, replaceable figurehead on Fivehead's teams. As an egomaniac, he thinks he's got it all figured out and refuses to let his coaches do any actual coaching on game day.

:lol
you have any proof of this shit? If his Head Coaches are useless then that makes him going to 4 SBs even more impressive, since he was doing it all. Clearly he wasn't and I think both Kubiak and Dungy are good coaches. Meanwhile your god Lebron is definitely guilty of all this, yet you spin it like crazy.

so much estrogenic nonsense, I'm pretty sure I know whose troll this is. :lol
