This is all Nike and like any good company that wants to remain profitable they'll price their product accordingly and what the market will bear. Also, by not offering a discount line is a corporate decision as to keep the mystique of his products as luxury items. Still, good kicks in the 90's were 100-200 bucks....in 2015 it's the same thing. 1. It's ridiculous that his shoes are that expensive still ...considering very few are truly comfortable functional for hoops and he has been retired for so many years.

2. Normally urban youths get tired of shit even expensive shit after a while. It only stays hot so long. You see people wearing Phat Farm, roca wear, Sean Jean, Ed hardy like they did a few years back. Jordan's brand has outlasted them all ...

3. Jordan's arent even hoopin' shoes anymore they have iconic fashion wear status that doesnt seem to go out of style.

You can Hate MJ but his (Nike) marketing strategy and his game are two things that are undeniable. he was arguably the GOAT and even if you could argue James, Kareem, whomever he is in THAT convo if not the leader.

What I dont like ...

1. He never shown an ounce of genuine guilt over kids getting shot behind them. I know it's not his fault and people can get shot over KD's too ...but outside of some donations he doesnt seem to have any inkling to take a social stance
