Then they finally get a decent shot and it sails 30 feet wide of the goal or they get called offsides. A single baseball pitch is literally more meaningful than the entire 88 minutes of passing the ball around midfield in povertyball. Fates change on one pitch.

If you condensed saves, corners, shots, and goals in povertyball, we're talking maybe a minute's worth of meaning. Rest of the game is spent throwing yourself to the grass.
