take Kawhi, Lamarcus and Duncan out of this team and we are probably worse than the lakers.

take 2 of those 3 out and we are on par with the lakers

While some of this is true, I think our third string guys are extra horrible this time around, and Pop really likes to play them a lot right now. I mean, TD didn't even play the 2nd half against Atlanta, and LMA didn't play at all.

Now Pop is saying he's going to start playing a regular rotation on the home preseason games, and I expect a win there, tbh...

This season is Peter Holt and the gang selling season tickets and giving Tim a non-shitty farewell tour. Spurs don't have a puncher's chance to win the ring, too much riding on Parker and the new guy. It's not even an interesting story. Spurs were interesting because they trained and developed nobody players to be contenders. Now they've attracted a big name and a leg rider, they are just another team pushing out a promising product.
