Kawhi has been chucking a lot but as long as he produces like an Allstar I have no complaints.

It's not like our team is riddled with scorers. Our team is pretty shit once Duncan, Lamarcus and Kawhi sit.

Go to Twitter and use the link from Jeff McDonald's account/tweet. It should work.

Popovich aims to use something of a regular rotation when the team plays its home opener Sunday against Detroit.

“We’ve got so many new guys, I don’t want to go into the first game of the regular season trying to figure out the rotation,” Popovich said. “The last three (exhibition) games are at home, and I’m going to play probably the way we’re going to play in a game.”

Kl is a pussy. He, like lebron, should drive every time. This is why sa can't win close games. We don't have someone who is in attack mode on crucial plays. Patty tim and marco bailed him out last year, which is why sa had to go get Lma.

Sorry, drive to the paint, stop, and miss a turnaround. Must be fun watching the playoffs from his mansion

Simple. Your percentage is going to go down when you take more shots.

Thanks guys. Good read!:toast It's great to see Kawhi develop, and cool that he and Pop continue to work on advancing his role as much as his physical game.

Also, interesting to hear that the first cuts are coming soon, before Sunday likely.

No. Your percentage is 0 until you make a shot, so that's not true.

I'd like to see you call Kawhi a pussy to his face. He'd slap you into next week.

“He’s got to get out there and see what it feels like to have all those hands all over him, negotiate the blitzes and the pick-and-rolls and the pushes and all that stuff,” Popovich said.

Which tells you that a lot that goes on in a pre-season game, isn't what's going to happen in a regular season game. However, I do want to see Leonard spend half of the regular season experimenting and free wheeling rather than playing efficient.

Maybe Spurs fans are going to get a preview worth evaluating.

this is good for him. he should use the opportunity to begin to work on his playmaking in addition to being one of our top scoring threats. he has the potential to take his game to the next step if pop gives him this role on a full time basis

No, a percentage of 0/0 is "undefined."

Well, not necessarily. Like if Green is always hesitating instead of shooting with confidence, he's probably both shooting fewer shots and shooting them at a worse percentage. It's all about shot selection. The more good shots you take, the better your percentage is likely to be (especially TS%). The more bad shots you take, the worse your percentage will be. Kawhi and the team will benefit from him minimizing his bad shot attempts.

I am with you on this. Will probably make mistakes but it's the only way he will really learn. As the season goes along and he looks at film after having experienced the defensive pressure, hopefully they will clean it up.

He did it for the first time in years against the Clippers last year, and the results were pretty good iirc.

I know Pop is old-school, but he should never have been so hard-headed about always running two bigs at the same time. There are some instances where it doesn't necessarily work.

Let's see what Kawhi'll do.
